Photo Narrative Finn’s Work in the Industry

Fin the Summer of 1969 in Wyoming. A deep gas well.  200 Stands.

Chain thrower Fin.  He still has his fingers.

My second well suffered a blowout that did not burst into flames.

My job in the estuary of the Mississippi gave me a front row seat of the oil field's bad behavior.

My rig stood in 500' of water and was the haven of rest for fish and delight of fishermen.

An aerial view of the slashes in the Mississippi Delta.  The canal were dug to provide oil industry access to drill sites.  The marsh has suffered from salt water intrusion and deprivation of still water.  Incident to the diking of the Mississippi River.
