This is a June 2014 video of a central north Dakota wet land which supports ducks and that means they dine on microorganisms and pond plants.
My pre-teen girls and their farm girl companions swam in this wetland in the middle of intensely farmed land . Although it was astir with life the water did not irritate my daughters eyes or skin.
